I studied dentistry in Gothenburg and had the privilege to be training at the Brånemark clinic where dental implants all started. I have placed some 3000 implants in the last 20 years and now use the most advanced digital software and planning equipment to perfect the outcome. We have the most modern CBCT scanner in house which allows us to plan your treatment in detail before we start your dental implant journey !
Outside of dentistry I enjoy skiing, mountain biking and racket sports and spending time with my 5 children

I work as Clinical Director of Angel Hill Group and act as Lead Clinician to a team of approximately 30 outstanding clinicians, namely a team of Hygienists and Oral Health Educaters (OHEs) , a team of general dentists, and a team which focus on specialist and complex forms of dentistry. I host an Academy for this team, where together we devise pathways for best practice, which we believe exceeds national standards. The collaborative network of highly qualified clinicians, and our Forum for Scientific Debate, the Angel Hill Academy, makes our community of professionals some what unique in our service delivery.

Sarah graduated from Newcastle Upon Tyne Dental School in 2001, and worked in several practices in and around the North East of England before moving to Suffolk in 2006.
Sarah enjoys all aspects of General Dentistry especially treating many generations of the same family. Her early career focused on surgeries offering sedation to anxious patients.
Sarah continues to focus on creating a calming and reassuring experience for her patients.
Away from work she spends as much time outdoors as possible gardening and playing sport.

Hi, I’m Ayad, an Associate Dentists here at Abbey Dental Practice.
I’m a General Practitioner with a special interest in Implants. I also carry out Cosmetic Dentistry, including Composite Veneers and Invisalign.
In my spare time, I love learning about the history of civilisations and other cultures by travelling and enjoying the foods of these cultures with my family. I work out at the gym on a regular basis. I also enjoy playing the piano and still do go to piano lessons.
Ayad has the best of both worlds, at heart he’s a Scientist and a Dental Surgeon, meaning he bases everything on researched evidence.
Ayad joined the team earlier this year and is a key member of the team, with many glowing reviews from our Patients already.
He is passionate about Implants and cosmetic dentistry and is an Elite Experienced Cosmetic Dentist as well as an Elite Level Provider of Invisalign.
Ayad is one of our Associate Dentists here at Abbey Dental Practice. He joined us earlier this year in the Summer of 2022.
He graduated from Dentistry in 2017 but actually started his University life in 2006 with a love for Science, researching into Craniofacial Deformities in his Bachelors and then the best filling materials in his Masters which was between 2010 and 2011.

I am an outgoing, and fun loving general dentist and facial aesthetics practitioner. I enjoy taking part in the difference that I make aesthetically to patients’ smile and face. I am an Invisalign provider, and I have a keen interest in smile makeovers with composite bonding, veneers and Invisalign.
I have a special interest in facial aesthetics medicine. I have undertaken extensive training in advanced facial contouring with dermal fillers and wrinkle relaxing injections with Botox at Derma Medical training academy which is world renowned in addition to taking extra courses in Harley Street. I am widley experienced in natural looking lip enhancements, non-surgical face lifts and cheek augmentation.
Throughout my experience, I have developed passion for non-surgical full face transformation and profile harmonisation for which I successfully completed an artistic facial transformation course to achieve a male face masculinisation, female face beautification and an older face structural rejuvenation. I have developed an artistic approach for performing structural sculpting procedures like non-surgical- rhinoplasty, jawline defining and chin augmentation. My motto at work is “Safety First” in all that I provide.
I am known to have a gentle and reassuring nature that puts my patients at ease for which I received great patients feedback following treatments.
In my spare time, I love staying in a good shape by training in the gym and swimming. I also enjoy travelling around to expand my mind by meeting new people and knowing new cultures.

Dr. Khan qualified at Kings College London in 2000.
He has a wealth of experience and a strong passion for dentistry. Since qualifying from Kings College he has continued to add to his skills, he has gained experience over many years placing dental implants and tackling complex cases, as well as an additional qualification in restorative dentistry from the prestigious Eastman Dental Institute.
He has worked at both Ipswich hospital & West Suffolk hospital as well as the Royal London Hospital. Dr Khan has experience performing minor oral surgery, tackling complex and difficult extractions such as impacted wisdom teeth..

After graduating from his studies in Dentistry at Guarulhos University in his native Brazil in 2011, Dr. Carlos Medeiros completed his postgraduate degree in Orthodontics and moved to Portugal where he has accomplished his integrated masters in Dental Medicine at Fernando Pessoa University in 2020.
Always cheerful, patient and full of energy, Dr. Carlos has a friendly, easy manner that endears him to his patients, both children and adults alike. His appointments are characterised by his kindness, clarity and attention. He is dedicated to making sure that patients are satisfied when they leave and pays close attention to every minor detail to ensure success. Dr. Carlos believes that a beautiful, healthy smile and a better quality of life go hand in hand, and is passionate about helping his patients.

John is a specialist orthodontist providing a whole range of orthodontic treatment. He qualified from the University of Dundee in 2012 and then worked for a number of years in Edinburgh and Glasgow, gaining valuable experience across the dental specialties and in oral and maxillofacial surgery. Following this, he embarked upon his specialist training in orthodontics based between The Royal London Hospital and Ipswich Hospital. During this time, he was awarded the Membership in Orthodontics from the prestigious Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and also completed a Doctorate in Clinical Dentistry at Queen Mary University London, for which he was awarded the Jim Moss prize for his independent research on smile aesthetics.
As an orthodontic specialist with a broad dental background, John is able to work closely with referring dentists for a multidisciplinary approach to ensure patients are well-informed, comfortable and ultimately satisfied with their results.
John offers an array of contemporary orthodontic treatment for both children and adults, with a particular clinical interest in discreet orthodontic appliances, such as Invisalign and tooth-coloured fixed appliances.
Outside of work, John enjoys cycling and spending time with his wife Sophie, also a dentist in Suffolk, exploring the local countryside with their dog Bear
